Vasek Pospisil has reflected on the "very special" feeling of reaching the second week of a Grand Slam for the first time after knocking James Ward out of Wimbledon.
The Canadian recovered from a 2-1 deficit in sets to clinch a 4-6 6-3 6-2 6-3 8-6 win over the British hopeful and reach the last-16 stage at SW19.
Victory represents the 25-year-old's first time reaching the fourth round at a major competition - a feeling that he hopes to remember for years to come.
"Yes it was a really tough match. James is a very good player, conditions were tough, playing the crowd as well. I am just happy right now," he told BBC Sport.
"I was just trying to stay composed and focused on my routines, hang in there and stay positive. I did well to bounce back from the second and third sets which weren't so good on my part.
"There was a lot of momentum swings, I am very happy with the way I came back in the fourth set. It's very special. It's my first second week of a singles slam. The first time is always the most special."
He faces Viktor Troicki in the next stage.
