Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has a big call to make at left-back for Sunday's Premier League clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The Gunners are still without Mohamed Elneny (hamstring) and Emile Smith Rowe (groin) for the long term, and Oleksandr Zinchenko is still nursing a calf injury.

With Zinchenko classed as a major doubt for the contest, it is a straight shootout between Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu for the left-back spot, and the latter has a strong chance of getting the nod.

Tierney made the first XI for Thursday's Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt after Tomiyasu starred in that unfamiliar role against Liverpool, so it would not be a surprise to see the Japan international earn back-to-back Premier League starts.

Matt Turner earned high praise for his performance in Norway, but Aaron Ramsdale will be back here as Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba protect him.

Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey were both brought off the bench in midweek and will form their effective partnership from the off here, with Martin Odegaard pulling the strings in the number 10 role.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli both shone in the five-goal success over Liverpool, and the former netted the only goal of the game against Bodo/Glimt - an unconventional one which deflected off his lips into the back of the net.

Arteta left Gabriel Jesus at home for the trip to the Arctic Circle, but having had ample time to relax and recover, the Brazilian should be back to spearhead the charge as Eddie Nketiah drops to the bench.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
