Augsburg have given their Bundesliga survival hopes a boost with a 2-0 win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The hosts took the lead in the 27th minute when Ji Dong-Won's deflected drive found the net.

They could have doubled their advantage minutes later, but Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker blasted his penalty over the crossbar following a foul on Paul Verhaegh.

However, Augsburg sealed the victory just before the hour mark as Ji pounced to grab his second goal of the game.
