Oscar Garcia has praised his Brighton & Hove Albion players for keeping their playoff hopes alive by beating Yeovil Town 2-0 on Friday night.

Two goals in the final 12 minutes from Kazenga LuaLua and Jesse Lingard proved enough for the Seagulls to claim all three points and relegate Yeovil to League One in the process.

In contrast, Garcia's charges could be given the chance to earn promotion into the Premier League if they beat Nottingham Forest in the final game of the campaign and Reading drop points in either of their two remaining fixtures.

"I want to give all the credit to the players," he told Brighton's official website.

"We did our job. Now we have to wait and be prepared and ready for the last game. Two months ago nobody thought we could be there but we are here.

"We knew it would be a tough game and not easy to win but the passion that we showed in the second half drove us on to score and we earned ourselves the win."

Reading travel to Doncaster Rovers in their penultimate game of the season, before hosting already-promoted Burnley at the Madejski Stadium on May 3.
