Inverness boss John Hughes aims to exploit Celtic's 'weaknesses'

Inverness boss John Hughes will look to exploit Celtic's 'weaknesses' after the Scottish champions crashed out of the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss John Hughes has revealed that he will aim to exploit Celtic's inability to defend set pieces, after the Scottish champions crashed out of the Europa League on Thursday evening.

A 2-1 defeat to Ajax at Celtic Park saw Ronny Deila's side leave the competition earlier this week, after they failed to win a single game in Group A.

However, Hughes believes that he has found Celtic's weakness and will look to exploit it when the two sides face on Sunday afternoon.

"We have to be positive and know that we can score against Celtic. They are quite a formidable team but there is weaknesses in there and I think you to belief that we can score," Hughes told Sky Sports News.

"We've proved we can do that and I think they are a little bit vulnerable at set pieces. They are no longer zonal, they have gone touch-tight with just one or two marking zonally. We just have to go and capitalise on that.

"They showed they were vulnerable in Europe at set pieces and it cost them dear."

Inverness are currently eighth in the Scottish Premiership.
