Czech midfielder Vaclav Pilar has agreed to join Freiburg on a season-long loan from fellow Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Pilar joined Wolfsburg last summer but a serious injury has meant that he has yet to make an appearance for them.
Freiburg caretaker sporting director Klemens Hartenbach said that the club are excited about the prospect of Pilar playing for the club.
"In Vaclav Pilar we are looking forward to a very interesting player who, despite being only 24, has already amassed lots of experience," he told UEFA.com.
Pilar has been capped 14 times by the Czech Republic.
