Luis Suarez wants Liverpool to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and maintain their chances of finishing in the Premier League top four.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez believes that his side can finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.

The Reds, who are currently seventh in the table with 42 points from 28 matches, take on third-placed Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.

"We've been in good form recently and it's a good opportunity to reduce the gap between ourselves and Spurs," ESPN quotes him as saying.

"There is a slight chance we can make Champions League football - and if we want to do that, this is the sort of game we need to win."

Suarez is the leading scorer in the Premier League so far this season with 21 goals.
