Liverpool 'rekindle' interest in former player Thomas Ince

Liverpool will reportedly make a bid for theur former player Thomas Ince, now of Blackpool, after they lost out on Mohamed Salah to Chelsea.

Liverpool have reportedly rekindled their interest in their former player Thomas Ince, now of Blackpool.

The 21-year-old left Anfield two and a half years ago to join the Seasiders, who are now said to be ready to sell their star player.

His current contract expires at the end of the season and he is expected to want to move on with plenty of Premier League and European interest.

The recent sacking of his father Paul also reduces the possibility of him staying at Blackpool this window, with the Lancashire club admitting that they might have to cash in on him this week.

Ligue 1 outfit Monaco have been heavily linked with a move for the forward but now Liverpool are in the race, according to SportsDirect News, as they look set to lose out on Basel's Mohamed Salah to Chelsea.
