Liverpool will play host to Everton at Anfield in the third round of the FA Cup, while holders Arsenal face a trip to Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool have been drawn to face Everton in the FA Cup third round, less than a week before the teams do battle at Anfield in the Premier League.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has previously used cup competitions to rotate his squad, but the German may now be forced to play his star names against the club's city rivals.

Premier League leaders Manchester City will host Burnley, while Manchester United have been handed a home meeting with Championship side Derby County.

Holders Arsenal must travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest, while AFC Wimbledon will visit Wembley Stadium to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea will travel to East Anglia to take on Norwich City, with fellow Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers being drawn at home to play Swansea City.

Brighton & Hove Albion will take on rivals Crystal Palace at the Amex Stadium, and Middlesbrough and Sunderland will contest the North-East derby at the Riverside Stadium.

All of the ties will be played between January 5 and January 8.
