Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Manchester United's Ethan Laird to Ajax, Luis Suarez to Borussia Dortmund and Ben Mee to Brentford.

Dutch giants Ajax are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United youngster Ethan Laird this summer.

The Eredivisie champions have already held talks with the Red Devils this month as they have agreed to sell defender Lisandro Martinez to the Premier League giants for around £57m.

According to PantelicPodcast, via The Express, Ajax are now exploring the possibility of bringing 20-year-old full-back Laird to the Amsterdam ArenA.

The England Under-19 international spent last season on loan with Championship duo Swansea City and Bournemouth, playing 21 times for the former and only six times for the latter.

Laird's long-term future at Old Trafford is believed to be uncertain as he has just 12 months remaining on his contract.

Laird, who has made only two senior appearances for Man United, could become the second defender to join Ajax this summer following the arrival of Calvin Bassey from Rangers on Wednesday for an initial fee of £19.6m.

Over in the Bundesliga, free agent Luis Suarez has reportedly been offered to Borussia Dortmund.

The 35-year-old is without a club after his contract at Atletico Madrid expired last month and he is now hoping to sort out his future quickly ahead of representing Uruguay at the 2022 World Cup.

Dortmund have replaced Erling Braut Haaland with Karim Adeyemi and Sebastien Haller this summer, but the latter has recently been diagnosed with a testicular tumour following a medical examination.

According to Sky Sports News in Germany, Suarez's representatives have now offered the striker to Dortmund who may consider recruiting a short-term replacement for Haller.

Suarez admitted earlier this month that he has received offers from MLS club, while the likes of AC Milan, Aston Villa and River Plate have also been credited with an interest.

The veteran striker recorded 13 goals and three assists in 45 appearances for Atletico across all competitions last season.

Another free agent looking for a new club is defender Ben Mee who is reportedly in talks with Brentford over a proposed move to London.

The 32-year-old left Burnley – who have been relegated to the Championship – after 11 years at Turf Moor when his contract expires at the end of last month.

The Sun claims that Brentford have been in discussions with Mee, with Thomas Frank looking to bolster his defensive options as both Kristoffer Ajer and Ethan Pinnock are suffering with injuries.

The report adds that Mee has a number of options on the table and is set to make a decision on his future before the 2022-23 season begins.

Mee made 376 appearances for Burnley across all tournaments, including 217 games in the Premier League.

Elsewhere, French outfit Lyon have reportedly reignited their interest in signing Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico.

The 29-year-old has just a year remaining on his contract in Amsterdam and he is believed to be keen to seek pastures new this summer.

According to Foot Mercato editor-in-chief Sebastien Denis, Lyon have re-opened talks with Tagliafico's agent after stalling in negotiations over a deal for Villarreal left-back Pervis Estupinan.

Denis claims that a move for Tagliafico to the Ligue 1 outfit is imminent which would see the Argentina international end his four-year spell in the Netherlands.

Tagliafico fell down the pecking order under former head coach Erik ten Hag in the 2021-22 campaign and started only nine times in the Eredivisie.
