Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has denied that his club have held talks with Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy over a January move.
The 27-year-old's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with a brilliant 2023-24 campaign to date seeing him score 18 times and register two assists in 14 appearances in all competitions.
Guirassy only joined Stuttgart on a permanent deal from Rennes over the summer, but there is believed to be a €17.5m (£15.1m) release clause in his contract.
Manchester United are being heavily linked with the Guinea international, while Newcastle United are also believed to be keen to bring him to the Premier League in January.
A recent report claimed that Dortmund were also keen on Guirassy, with the club planning to move for a new forward during the winter market.

However, BVB's sporting director has said that the transfer rumours have 'amused him', with Kehl denying that there have been discussions over a mid-season move.
"At the moment there are no discussions at all. Neither with the club nor with the player. That really amused me," Kehl told DAZN.
Guirassy has reportedly rejected the chance to sign a new contract at Stuttgart, which would have removed the release clause in his deal, so a January exit is now thought to be highly likely.
German journalist Christian Falk claims that Man United, Newcastle and Dortmund are the three clubs most interested in securing the striker's services in the middle of the campaign.

Guirassy scored 14 times for Stuttgart during a loan spell last season before completing a permanent move to the club during the summer market.
In total, the striker has represented the Reds on 42 occasions, scoring 32 goals and registering four assists in the process.
A recent report claimed that Dortmund had met with Man United last week to discuss a possible swap deal involving Jadon Sancho and Donyell Malen in January.
However, Kehl insisted that was not the case, adding in the same interview: "At the moment there is no exchange deal discussed or any interest in any player."
Guirassy has scored 16 times in 12 Bundesliga appearances this season, while he has also netted twice in two outings in the German Cup.
