Roma £13m Gerson bid accepted?

Roma have reportedly had an offer of £13m accepted for Fluminese midfielder Gerson.

The Brazilian teenager, who has been compared to Juventus's Paul Pogba. has been linked with moves to both Manchester United and Chelsea recently.

However, Gazetta dello Sport claims that the Giallorossi may have stolen a march on their rivals, including Juve and Barcelona who are also said to be interested in the youngster.

Barca are believed to have paid £2m for first option on Gerson and, if Roma's bid is accepted, it means that the Blaugrana have two days to decide whether to make a counter offer.

United's interest is thought to have waned following their deals for Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.
