Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid will be without the services of five players for Sunday night's La Liga clash with Real Sociedad.

Lucas Vazquez remains a long-term absentee with an ankle injury, while David Alaba has suffered a setback in his recovery from a calf problem, with the centre-back set to miss out once again this weekend.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Carvajal are also out with calf and muscular injuries respectively, although the duo should return against Valencia on February 2.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid suffered two fresh issues against Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey on Thursday.

Rodrygo was replaced late on after complaining of pain in his Achilles, while Ferland Mendy was forced off in the first period with a thigh problem.

Mendy is out of the squad for this match, but Rodrygo has been included, while there is also a return for Eden Hazard following a recent ankle issue.

Eduardo Camavinga could potentially start at left-back against Real Sociedad, with Nacho lining up on the opposite side of the defence.

Dani Ceballos, who has impressed of late, could then come into central midfield to join Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

Despite Rodrygo being passed fit, Federico Valverde should continue alongside Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior in the final third of the field.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Nacho, Militao, Rudiger, Camavinga; Kroos, Ceballos, Modric; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius
