Harry Redknapp says that he has yet to be contacted by the Russian Football Association regarding what he describes as a "fantastic job".

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has hinted that he may be interested in becoming the next manager of Russia.

The Russian Football Association confirmed yesterday that the 65-year-old was among 13 candidates for the position, which was vacated by Dick Advocaat last month.

Redknapp told The Sun: "I haven't been contacted but I'm sure it's a fantastic job for someone."

Of the 198 games during Redknapp's reign at Tottenham, the club won 98 times, drawing 50 and losing 50.
