Half-Time Report: Wycombe Wanderers, Bristol Rovers level at the break

Matt McClure brings Wycombe Wanderers back on terms against fellow League Two strugglers Bristol Rovers.

Wycombe Wanderers and Bristol Rovers go in at half time level after a tense 45 minutes at Adams Park, with both sides fighting for their League Two future.

Rovers were ahead inside 11 minutes when Lee Brown's free kick proved too good for keeper Matt Ingram.

However, Wycombe improved after falling behind and were back on level terms by the 20th minute when Matt McClure rifled home a Sam Wood cross to the relief of Blues fans.

On the stroke of half time, the Chairboys came close to taking the lead when Anthony Stewart dragged his effort wide.

Both sides may feel they need to win, with Torquay United and Northampton Town racing into comfortable leads away to Mansfield Town and Dagenham & Redbridge respectively.
