Preview: AC Milan vs. Napoli

Sports Mole looks ahead to Sunday's Serie A meeting between AC Milan and Napoli.

AC Milan host Napoli at the San Siro on Sunday evening, knowing that a victory would see them move within a point of their opponents in the table.

With leaders Juventus currently nine points clear at the top, Milan and Napoli are the two contenders to take second place, which guarantees automatic qualification for next season's Champions League.

Milan, who currently sit third in Serie A, missed the opportunity to move closer to Walter Mazzarri's side last weekend when they let a two-goal lead slip against Fiorentina.

Napoli travel to Milan as the second-placed team in the table following three consecutive league wins. They defeated Genoa 2-0 last week to strengthen their hold on second spot.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri could make changes to the side which drew 2-2 with Fiorentina, with Robinho and Antonio Nocerino pushing for starts.

Mazzarri may be tempted to field the same XI which beat Genoa, which would see Edinson Cavani and Goran Pandev retain their places up front.
