Nuri Sahin: 'Borussia Dortmund must stifle Arsenal'

Nuri Sahin calls on his Borussia Dortmund teammates to stifle Arsenal's creative threat during tonight's Champions League encounter in Germany.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has urged his teammates to stifle Arsenal's creative threat during tonight's Champions League encounter in Germany.

Dortmund welcome the Gunners to the Westfalenstadion following a 2-1 win for the Bundesliga side in London two weeks ago.

Sahin believes that the hosts need to adopt similar tactics for tonight's game after limiting Arsenal during the first fixture.

"Arsenal are very offensive but their power is reduced if you can stop their creativity, that was our success in the first match and now we need to repeat the situation," he told Sky Sports News.

"The Gunners are not your typical English club. For me they are more European with a style like Spanish and German teams."

Dortmund, Arsenal and Napoli are currently all on six points in Group F of the competition.
