Jack Wilshere fit to face Galatasaray

Jack Wilshere overcomes an ankle knock to be named in the Arsenal squad for Wednesday's encounter with Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere is available to face Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The midfielder had been a doubt for the match at the Emirates Stadium after suffering an ankle knock during last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey and Abou Diaby have all been omitted from the squad for tomorrow night's encounter against the Turks.

Arsenal stared their European campaign two weeks ago with a 2-0 defeat away to Borussia Dortmund.
