Arsenal's Mesut Ozil believes that teammate Tomas Rosicky is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil has claimed that teammate Tomas Rosicky is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

The Czech has been an integral member of the Gunners' squad this season after enduring an injury-plagued 2012-13 campaign.

Ozil believes that Rosicky's return to fitness is a key reason why the team is at the top of the Premier League table.

"In my opinion Tomas belongs to the best midfielders in the Premier League," he told the club's official website.

"When you see how much he gives for the team and how he enjoys being on the ball it makes us happy to have a player like that in our ranks."

Arsenal return to action on Saturday when they play host to Fulham in the Premier League.
