Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri confirms that out-of-favour midfielder Aaron Ramsey will leave the club during the January transfer window.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the club during the January transfer window.

The Wales international has struggled to make his mark in Turin since arriving on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2019, with injuries bedevilling the 31-year-old.

Juve are thought to have been keen to offload Ramsey for a while given his extortionate pay packet, and Allegri has now confirmed that the midfielder's exit is imminent.

When asked about Ramsey's future during a press conference, Allegri said: "Aaron's not with the team as he's set to leave the club."

A return to Arsenal has understandably been mooted but is not thought to be a realistic option for Ramsey, who has also been linked with Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Ramsey has made just five appearances in all tournaments this season and has registered six goals and six assists in 70 games for Juve in total.
