Arsenal are allegedly keen to secure a reunion with PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen during the summer transfer window.
After the prospect failed to make the breakthrough into the Gunners first team earlier in his career, the Dutchman opted to return to his homeland with PSV.
Since his switch to the Eredivisie giants in 2017, the 21-year-old has scored 27 goals from 65 appearances in all competitions, while also becoming a regular for the Netherlands.
According to Le10Sport, Malen's progress has resulted in Arsenal contemplating whether to launch a big-money bid for their former player.
The report claims that the Premier League outfit may be willing to spend as much as £48.5m on the versatile attacker.
However, PSV remain in a strong position regarding the future of one of their key men, who still has over four years left on his contract.
