Everton reportedly join Arsenal in the race to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Neto Moura, who has played a mere 11 games this season.

Arsenal will reportedly have to fend off interest from Everton if they are to land backup Barcelona goalkeeper Neto Moura this summer.

The Brazilian has played second fiddle to Marc-Andre ter Stegen for the majority of the 2020-21 campaign, although his teammate's injury means that he will be given the chance to impress against Eibar on the final day of the La Liga season.

Amid speculation surrounding a possible exit for Bernd Leno at the Emirates, the Gunners have been tipped to bring in Neto ahead of the new Premier League season.

However, Spanish outlet Sport claims that Everton are also interested in signing the 31-year-old, with the Toffees rivalling Arsenal for a spot in European football heading into the final day of the campaign.

Neto is under contract at Camp Nou until 2023, but having made just 11 appearances in all competitions this term, there is nothing to suggest that he will be offered an extension anytime soon.

The former Valencia man arrived in Catalonia during the 2019 summer transfer window, but in that time he has made a mere 16 appearances for the Blaugrana, keeping six clean sheets.
