Report: Arsenal end interest in Saint-Etienne's Loic Perrin

Arsenal reportedly end their pursuit of Saint-Etienne defender Loic Perrin just days after the player revealed that the Gunners recently expressed an interest.

Arsenal have reportedly ended their pursuit of Saint-Etienne defender Loic Perrin.

The 29-year-old emerged as a target in recent weeks, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger believed to be keen to strengthen his defensive options this month.

Perrin himself claimed this week that he has been approached by the North London outfit, but according to L'Equipe, Arsenal are no longer interested in signing him.

The defender has featured 19 times for the French club this season.
