Leonardo says that Paris Saint-Germain have a "great opportunity" of qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals this season.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has said that he is confident of his side's progression in the Champions League.

PSG will head into the second leg of their quarter-final tie against Barcelona levelled at 2-2 from the first leg played in France last week.

"Honestly, we have to take it as a great day for us," ESPN quotes him as saying. "We're in an extraordinary position.

"Barcelona are 20 years into their project. Ever since [Johan] Cruyff, Barcelona have played like that and they've almost achieved perfection with some incredible generations of players.

"PSG has started a great chapter in its history, but the squad only started working together 20 months ago. However, that doesn't take away the feeling that we have a great opportunity."

The second leg will be held at Camp Nou on Wednesday.
