Barcelona have reportedly been informed that it will cost £50.8m to complete a deal for Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno.
With Luis Suarez unlikely to return from knee surgery until May, newly-appointed boss Quique Setien is eager to bring in a replacement.
Having allegedly ended their interest in Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Catalan giants are said to be keen on Rodrigo.
However, according to the Evening Standard, Valencia will not accept anything less than £50.8m for a player who has contributed four goals and eight assists from 23 appearances this season.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was suggested that Bruno Fernandes could potentially be used as a bargaining tool by Barcelona, providing that they can agree terms with Sporting Lisbon.
If Valencia give the green light for Barcelona to sign Rodrigo, the La Liga champions will allow Fernandes to spend the rest of the campaign on loan at The Mestalla.
