Julian Draxler "supporting" Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker

Julian Draxler pledges his support to Bayern Munich ahead of today's Der Klassiker.

Schalke 04 forward Julian Draxler has pledged his support to Bayern Munich ahead of their clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The 20-year-old helped his side to a 2-0 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday night, a result which lifted the Royal Blues level on points with Dortmund in second place.

Three points for Bayern in this evening's Der Klassiker will aid Schalke's chances of finishing in the top two.

"We want to finish ahead of Dortmund but we'll see what happens. I'm supporting Bayern, though," Draxler is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

The German international has made 30 appearances for Schalke this season in all competition.
