Real Betis, Granada play out stalemate

Real Betis extend their unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions with a 0-0 draw at home to Granada in La Liga.

Real Betis have extended their unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions with a goalless draw at home to Granada in La Liga.

The best chance of the first half came the home side's way, but Salva Sevilla's free kick flashed narrowly wide of the post.

Sevilla had another crack at goal soon after the restart, only for Granada goalkeeper Roberto to make the save.

The visitors struggled to create any decent openings in the final third throughout but could have taken the lead with 20 minutes to play when Youssef El-Arabi headed over.

However, the best chance of the match came in the final minute for the hosts as Cedrick Mabwati headed off target from Jorge Molina's cross.
