Bolton Wanderers captain Darren Pratley out of action "for a few weeks"

Bolton Wanderers captain Darren Pratley is expected to be out of action "for a few weeks" with ankle ligament damage.

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon has revealed that captain Darren Pratley will be sidelined "for a few weeks" with ankle ligament damage.

The midfielder suffered the problem during his side's 0-0 draw with Derby County on the opening day of the season.

Pratley scored five goals in 27 appearances for the Championship side during the 2014-15 campaign.

"Darren Pratley has got ligament damage," Lennon is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We may not see him until after the international break, he's going to be out for a few weeks."

Bolton are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Middlesbrough in the league.
