Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels could miss next weekend's Champions League final against Bayern Munich with an ankle injury.

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has emerged as an injury doubt for next weekend's Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

The centre-back was forced off with an ankle problem during Saturday's defeat to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

"We are worried about Hummels because of the Champions League final coming up," Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports News. "We just have to wait. There is a chance but it will be tight."

Borussia Dortmund will take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium on May 25.
