Report: David Marshall to stay at Cardiff City

Cardiff City are confident that goalkeeper David Marshall will be playing for the club next season, according to a report.

Cardiff City are reportedly confident that goalkeeper David Marshall will be playing for the club next season.

The 29-year-old impressed for the Bluebirds in the Premier League last campaign, but was unable to keep them from dropping down to the Championship.

He has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks, and Southampton are also believed to be interested.

According to Wales Online, there has not been a formal bid by any club for the Scotland international, who is said to be valued at £15m.

The report goes on to claim that Marshall would be happy to stay at the club, as they seek an immediate return to the top flight.
