Celtic reportedly have no plans to part ways with manager Neil Lennon, despite the Scottish giants sitting 11 points adrift of rivals Rangers.

Celtic reportedly intend to provide manager Neil Lennon with time to turn around the club's fortunes in the Scottish Premiership.

The Glasgow giants have recorded just two wins from eight matches in all competitions, resulting in the club being off the pace on both the domestic and European scene.

Collecting five points from a possible 12 in the top flight has led to fierce criticism of the Northern Irishman, who has defended the club's recent record.

According to the Daily Mail, Lennon's position in the dugout remains safe ahead of the team's next batch of fixtures.

Celtic are scheduled to play St Johnstone, Kilmarnock and Ross County in successive home league fixtures as they bid to reduce an 11-point gap to Rangers.

However, having recorded just one point from their opening three Europa League group games, failure to defeat Sparta Prague on Thursday would leave the club on the brink of elimination.
