Eden Hazard: 'I'm not yet world class'

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard says that he is "not a top-five player yet".

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has insisted that he still has work to do if he is to be considered one of the best players in the world.

The 23-year-old has impressed for Chelsea since joining from Lille in 2012 – scoring 31 times in 114 games for the Premier League club.

However, the Belgian has played down talk that he is up there with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

"I'm not a top-five player yet. Maybe I'm close to it, but I still have to work on some aspects," he told reporters.

"You can only be part of that group if you are decisive in the top games. I start doing that, like I did against Manchester City and Arsenal.

"Who are better than me? The two extra-terrestrials, Ronaldo and Messi, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, [Franck] Ribery and [Arjen] Robben. They make the difference almost every game."

Hazard has scored twice for Chelsea thus far this season.
