Barcelona may reportedly have to consider parting ways with Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer if they want the winger off their wage bill this month.
With the France international having no intention of penning a new contract, the Catalan giants have told the player that he will leave Camp Nou before the end of January.
Dembele has insisted that he will not be forced out against his will, although it appears highly likely that he would sit out the rest of the campaign if he does not find a new club.
According to El Nacional, club officials may have to be prepared to let the 24-year-old depart on a free transfer to free themselves of further financial burden.
The La Liga outfit had been hoping to generate a cut-price fee for a player who cost €105m plus €40m in add-ons in 2017.
The report suggests that Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain would be interested in signing Dembele this month if no transfer fee was involved.
