Chelsea legend John Terry denies retirement reports

John Terry says that he is 'weighing up all of his options' following reports that he is to call time on his playing career and move into punditry.

Former Chelsea and Aston Villa defender John Terry has denied reports that he is about to call time on his playing career.

The Mirror claimed at the weekend that the 37-year-old, currently without a club after leaving the Villans in May, would take up a punditry position with Sky Sports.

Terry has clarified that he is still weighing up all his potential options, however, with the 37-year-old currently on holiday with his family.

"Just to confirm I haven't retired," he posted on Instagram. "I'm currently enjoying my holidays with my family and weighing up ALL my options."

Terry won five Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, the Europa League and Champions League during his two decades at Stamford Bridge, before spending one season with Aston Villa.
