Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso could reportedly join Inter Milan before this summer's transfer window comes to a close on October 5.
The Spaniard was allegedly heavily criticised by Blues boss Frank Lampard following his performance in Saturday's 3-3 draw with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.
Alonso could now struggle for regular minutes due to Ben Chilwell's return to fitness, and the 29-year-old is said to be open to leaving the club before next week's deadline.
According to The Times, Inter boss Antonio Conte is keen on a reunion with the player that he managed at Stamford Bridge, while Alonso is also in favour of moving to San Siro.
The three-time Spain international was left out of the squad for Chelsea's EFL Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday, which saw the Blues lose on penalties.
Alonso still has a contract with Lampard's side until June 2023.
