Report: Juan Mata seeking Chelsea talks

Reports suggest that Juan Mata will seek talks with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho after being left on the bench once again against West Ham United.

Fresh reports have emerged linking Juan Mata with a move away from Chelsea after he was left on the bench for yesterday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.

The Spaniard has started just eight games in all competitions this season and is believed to be concerned about his place in Spain's World Cup squad.

According to the Sunday People, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have shown an interest in the 25-year-old, who has called for talks with manager Jose Mourinho and technical director Michael Emenalo.

The Portuguese coach has stressed that he is keen to keep the former Valencia winger, twice voted the club's player of the year preceding the 50-year-old's return to Stamford Bridge.

However, he also warned the player that he needed to adapt his game in order to play ahead of fellow attacking midfielders Oscar and Eden Hazard.

The Blues triumphed 3-0 at Upton Park to move level on points with second-placed Liverpool.
