DPR Korea have recorded a 2-0 victory over Colombia in their opening Olympic match of Group G.
The match, which was due to kick off at 7.45pm, was delayed due to a dispute over a Korean flag.
It was North Korea who started the better, and Myong Hwa Jon tested Natalia Gaitan with just four minutes on the clock.
Korea continued to attack and Un Jo Choe twice missed the target, before Chung Sim Kim fired wide moments later.
Both sides continued to attack as the half approached its latter stages, but it was Korea who forced the opening goal.
It came after 39 minutes when the ball bounced off Song Hui Kim in the box and somehow rolled in after poor defending from Colombia.
It was the Colombians who started the second period the better, and Maria Usme fired just wide with 52 minutes on the clock.
Chances remained few and far between as the half developed, with Orianica Velasquez firing a free kick wide for Colombia after 70 minutes.
Korea remained comfortable as the match approached its latter stages, and they made sure of the win with a second from Kim in the final moments.
