England goalkeeper Joe Hart has claimed that his side "dominated" their World Cup qualifier against Slovenia, despite only coming away with a goalless draw.
Gareth Southgate's side saw more of the ball in Ljubljana, but the best chances fell the way of the home side, with Jasmin Kurtic hitting the post and Hart forced into a string of fine saves.
One of Hart's stops has already been compared to Gordon Banks's save from Pele at the 1970 World Cup, and he acknowledged after the match that it was his best performance for some time.
"They had chances, we dominated the game. A lot of respect, they have dug in and Jan Oblak had a fantastic game for them," Hart is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"It's 0-0, we are going to have to take it. It's my best game for a while, but it was down to a few errors from us. We have to improve but we are trying to qualify for Russia. My body is in pieces, I'll struggle to get up tomorrow. I landed on the frame of the goal."
The result ended England's 14-match winning streak in European Championship and World Cup qualifiers.
