Joachim Low: 'Germany not thinking about France'

Germany coach Joachim Low insists that his players are not thinking about the possibility of meeting France in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Germany coach Joachim Low has insisted that his players are not thinking about a potential quarter-final clash with France at the World Cup.

The three-time champions face Algeria tonight (Monday), with the winner meeting either the French or Nigeria in the next round.

Despite the possibility of a thrilling encounter between the European heavyweights, Low is only focusing on his side's game this evening.

"France are not in our heads," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "We have said that anyone who underestimates our opponents are wrong.

"We must go step by step and not look at any hypotheticals."

Germany reached the second round of the World Cup by finishing at the top of Group G.
