Getafe will present their new manager Cosmin Contra at an official press conference on Tuesday.
Contra took charge of the Spanish outfit on Monday morning after Luis Garcia was relieved of his managerial duties following a long winless run in La Liga.
Getafe have not won in their last 12 league games, with that run of form leaving them in 15th position in the table, just one point outside of the relegation zone.
Contra represented Getafe as a player between 2005 and 2010, while he had been coaching Romanian outfit Petrolul Ploiesti this season.
It is believed that Contra has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal.
