Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that last night's 1-0 win over AC Milan was a "step in the right direction".
The champions started the new Serie A campaign slowly, but four victories in their last five outings has lifted the Old Lady up to sixth position.
Speaking after the most recent triumph against Milan in Turin, Allegri told the club's official website: "I'm very satisfied with the attacking intent of this team, while defensively we did not give much ground away to their frontmen.
"We need to work on the pace of our passes, while we have to be more clinical in the final third. Nevertheless, we showed great solidity at the back today, we kept a clean sheet and so I consider this another step in the right direction."
Next up for Juve is a home Champions League clash against Manchester City on Wednesday evening.
