Half-Time Report: Goalless between Juventus, AC Milan in Serie A clash

Juventus and AC Milan play out a goalless first half in their Serie A clash as both teams struggle for quality in the final third of the pitch.

Neither side have been able to produce a breakthrough in the first half of the Serie A clash between Juventus and AC Milan.

M'Baye Niang went close for the visitors when he collected the ball from the left and tried to arc an effort into the top corner, but he put his strike narrowly over the bar.

Juventus pressed forward through Claudio Marchisio, who was allowed to shoot from distance, but Gianluigi Donnarumma showed good handling to make the stop.

Milan could have taken the lead when Alessio Cerci managed to get in behind the Juventus defence, but he miscued his header when well placed in the six-yard box.

The home side got into a rhythm with their passing and Hernanes managed to beat his man with a piece of skill on the edge of the area, but his left-footed drive sailed just over Donnarumma's bar.

Minutes later, Hernanes powered a free kick towards the net, which took a deflection on its way to goal, but Donnarumma reacted quickly to punch the ball over the bar.
