Monday's Nations League predictions including France vs. Croatia

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Nations League fixtures, including France vs. Croatia.

Kazakhstan vs. Slovakia (Monday, 3.00pm)

Kazakhstan and Slovakia square off in the UEFA Nations League on Monday with just one point separating the two teams in Group C3.

The nations are meeting for the second time in the space of a week, Kazakhstan having edged the first fixture by the solitary goal.

We say: Kazakhstan 1-1 Slovakia

Given Kazakhstan's remaining fixtures, the onus is on Slovakia to record all three points. However, we cannot ignore the form of the home side, and a surprise draw last time out will only motivate them to hold their own on Monday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Azerbaijan vs. Belarus (Monday, 5.00pm)

Azerbaijan and Belarus go in search of their first wins of the 2022 UEFA Nations League when they go head to head at the Dalga Arena on Monday evening.

The two nations look set to fight out a relegation battle in Group C3, following disappointing starts to this year's competition over the past two weeks.

We say: Azerbaijan 1-0 Belarus

As alluded to above, this looks set to be a tight Group C3 encounter on Monday evening, between two sides in desperate need for the points following poor runs of form.

Confidence is likely to be low in both camps, particularly in the final thirds of the pitch, so goals are expected to be at a premium, with home advantage perhaps proving pivotal for Azerbaijan to nick all three points by a narrow margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Denmark vs. Austria (Monday, 7.45pm)

The top two sides in League A Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League prepare for battle on Monday night, as Denmark welcome Austria to the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.

Kasper Hjulmand's men went down 1-0 to Croatia last time out, while the visitors were unfortunate not to come away from their clash with France with all three points.

We say: Denmark 1-1 Austria

Denmark and Austria can both be satisfied with their starts to the current Nations League cycle but will already be itching for a long summer break, which could lead to a somewhat conservative battle between tired legs.

Hjulmand's men are unlikely to be kept at bay on their own soil, but Austria held their own remarkably well against France, and we think this showdown has a low-scoring draw written all over it.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

France vs. Croatia (Monday, 7.45pm)

Reigning world champions France will aim to lift themselves off the foot of the League A Group 1 table in the UEFA Nations League when they welcome Croatia to the Stade de France on Monday night.

Les Bleus were held to a 1-1 draw by Austria on Friday night, while Zlatko Dalic's side finally got off the mark by beating Denmark 1-0.

We say: France 1-0 Croatia

With jellied legs possibly forcing Dalic to disrupt the defensive harmony more than he would have wanted, a refreshed set of French attacking options can finally help Les Bleus post their first win in the group at the fourth attempt.

Deschamps's side will still be in for a rough ride with Modric and Kovacic dictating play from the middle, but Croatia's frontline is not all that fear-inducing.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Iceland vs. Israel (Monday, 7.45pm)

Israel make the trip to Iceland for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixture with the opportunity to move to the brink of promotion to the top tier.

However, with Iceland trailing the visitors by just two points in Group B2, things could change significantly with one game remaining.

We say: Iceland 1-2 Israel

With both teams heading into this fixture unbeaten, there will be a certain level of respect during the early stages. Nevertheless, we feel that the visitors possess the better quality in all areas, leading us to predict a hard-fought win by the odd goal in three.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
