Kevin Nugent happy with Leyton Orient's point at Preston North End

Kevin Nugent admits that Leyton Orient were not at their best, so he is happy with the point earned at Preston North End.

Leyton Orient assistant manager Kevin Nugent has insisted that he is happy with the point that his side earned in the 0-0 draw away to Preston North End.

Nugent admitted that goalkeeper Jamie Jones was in top form and that Orient would not have come away with a point without him.

"We're happy to get a point after not being at our best really, but we dug the result out in difficult conditions," PA Sport quotes Nugent as saying.

"Nathan Clarke and Jamie Jones were excellent, if it wasn't for them we would've gone in a few goals down at half time.

"Early in the season we possibly lost or drew games where we played really well but here we got a point from not our best performance."

The result leaves Orient three points off the League One playoff spots.
