Liverpool midfielder Emre Can trains ahead of Wednesday's trip to Stoke City after missing Saturday's draw with Chelsea.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can took part in training on Monday evening ahead of Wednesday night's Premier League clash against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

The German international was absent from the team that played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday.

A muscle problem kept him out of Jurgen Klopp's squad, but according to the Liverpool Echo, there are signs that Can will be fit for the midweek action as he was involved in training this evening.

The midfielder's future continues to be a talking point, with reports that he has agreed personal terms with Juventus.

Can's current Liverpool contract expires at the end of the season.
