Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson 'injury doubt for Arsenal trip'

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is reportedly an injury doubt for next week's trip to Arsenal at the Emirates.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is reportedly in danger of missing next week's trip to face Arsenal at the Emirates due to a foot injury.

The midfielder was substituted early in the second half of his side's 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday night.

After the game, manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that the England international missed several training sessions leading up to the match because of the problem.

Now, according to The Express, Liverpool are awaiting the outcome of a scan and feel that Henderson is likely to need rest and will therefore miss the clash against Arsenal next Monday night.

The Reds will face Arsenal, Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester City in their next six away games.
