Jamie Carragher slams "terrible" Liverpool

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher criticises their display as they lose 3-1 to Hull City.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has slammed his former side's display as they lost 3-1 to Hull City in the Premier League.

The Reds were swept aside by Steve Bruce's men on a disappointing afternoon for manager Brendan Rodgers, and Carragher was quick to highlight the poor showing.

"It was a terrible performance and a terrible result," Carragher told Sky Sports News.

"The only good thing is they've got a game against Norwich City on Wednesday now.

"They can go straight into that and try and get this [Hull] game out of their system quickly."

The defeat leaves the Reds in third in the Premier League.
