Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admits that Luis Suarez could miss Sunday's trip to Queens Park Rangers with an ankle injury.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that Luis Suarez could miss Sunday's trip to Queens Park Rangers with an ankle injury.

The Uruguayan forward has been playing through the pain barrier in recent games, but he could be rested at Loftus Road.

Following his side's 3-1 defeat at Stoke City, Rodgers said: "Luis Suarez has been playing with a swollen ankle for the last few weeks.

"We will assess him and see how he is."

Suarez has scored 39.29% of Liverpool's Premier League goals this season with 11.
