Hull City have confirmed that they have agreed a compensation deal with Blackpool over the transfer of Thomas Ince.
The Premier League club will pay their Championship counterparts up to £2.3m following the 22-year-old's move to the KC Stadium in the summer.
Ince joined the Tigers after running his contract down at Blackpool. Because of his age, the Seasiders are entitled to compensation for helping to develop the player.
The matter was expected to go to an independent tribunal due to a struggle for both parties to reach an agreement, but the matter has now been resolved.
Liverpool, who gave Ince his first professional contract, are also expected to receive a portion of money.
