Report: Iago Aspas wants January loan move

Iago Aspas wants to leave Liverpool on loan in January to secure first-team football, according to reports.

Liverpool forward Iago Aspas reportedly wants to leave the club on loan in January despite only moving to Anfield from Celta Vigo in the summer.

The 26-year-old has still not scored for his new club and has struggled for playing time since the return of Luis Suarez.

According to the Daily Star, Valencia have shown an interest in the Spaniard, who scored 12 goals in 33 appearances in La Liga last season.

Aspas is currently sidelined with a torn thigh muscle.
